Donald Trump has sparked outrage with his latest sexist attack, targeting Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris by sharing an offensive post from one of his supporters. The former president reposted a comment on Tuesday that baselessly suggested Harris gained her political power by having an affair with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown in the 1990s.

In an even more repugnant twist, Trump’s post also dragged in his 2016 Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, by referring to her husband’s affair with Monica Lewinsky. The comment, which Trump shared, included a vile comparison that belittled both women’s careers with a crude remark: “Funny how blowjobs impacted both their careers differently…”

This type of sexist rhetoric is all too familiar for Trump, who has a history of using demeaning language against both Harris and Clinton. During the 2016 presidential debate, Trump famously labeled Clinton a “nasty woman,” a term he recently recycled when he referred to Harris as a “nasty person” in a Fox & Friends interview.

The former president’s attacks on Harris have intensified since she became the leading candidate for the Democratic ticket. Reports indicate that behind closed doors, Trump has referred to Harris with derogatory terms, and in a bizarre interview last month, he predicted that world leaders would “walk all over” her due to her appearance.

Adding to the controversy, Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, faced criticism after a video surfaced of him disparaging Harris as a “childless cat lady” and questioning her commitment to America’s future, despite her role as a stepmother. Trump defended Vance, claiming that his comments were misunderstood and accusing Democrats of spinning the narrative.

Trump’s latest repost follows a recent Fox Business segment where a guest insulted Harris with a crude reference to a viral TikTok clip. Although Trump did not add his own commentary, his history of misogynistic behavior is well-documented. In 2016, he was infamously recorded boasting about groping women, and this spring, he faced legal issues over hush money payments related to an alleged affair with Stormy Daniels. Trump has also been accused of sexual misconduct by numerous women, including a jury finding him liable for sexually assaulting former Elle columnist E. Jean Carroll.

In response to Trump’s offensive post, Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action, questioned on X: “Donald Trump reposted this. Is this really who you want making decisions about women’s freedoms and safety?”

Reactions to Trump’s latest social media stunt have been overwhelmingly negative, highlighting widespread disgust over his continued disrespectful attacks on women in politics.
