Donald Trump has launched a furious tirade at Bruce Springsteen after the rock legend torched his presidency during a fiery concert speech in Manchester.
Springsteen didn’t mince words. From the stage, he tore into Trump, calling his time in office a “corrupt, incompetent and treasonous administration” led by an “unfit president” at the helm of a “rogue government.”
He went further, blasting the president and his allies for cruelty and betrayal. “The richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death,” Springsteen said. “They’re taking sadistic pleasure in the pain they inflict on loyal American workers … They are abandoning our great allies and siding with dictators against those struggling for their freedom.”
In a Friday post on Truth Social, Trump lost: “Bruce Springsteen is highly overrated … not a talented guy – just a pushy, obnoxious JERK.”
The president then attacked Springsteen’s intelligence and appearance in a lengthy, bitter rant. “Sleepy Joe didn’t have a clue as to what he was doing, but Springsteen is ‘dumb as a rock,’ and couldn’t see what was going on, or could he (which is even worse!)?” he wrote. “This dried out ‘prune’ of a rocker (his skin is all atrophied!) ought to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT until he gets back into the Country, that’s just ‘standard fare’. Then we’ll all see how it goes for him!”

Springsteen, who has long backed Democratic candidates, supported Joe Biden in 2020 and previously campaigned for Barack Obama and Kamala Harris.
An hour before attacking Springsteen, Trump randomly turned his attention to another famous musician, Taylor Swift.
“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’” Trump posted.
Trump once praised Swift on social media, calling her “fantastic” and “unusually beautiful.” But after she endorsed Kamala Harris, he posted: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
Neither Springsteen nor Swift have responded.
