Elon Musk isn’t letting Donald Trump off the hook. The billionaire CEO came out swinging Wednesday, blasting Trump’s claim that the Jeffrey Epstein story is nothing more than a “hoax” cooked up by the left.
Musk wasn’t subtle: “Wow, amazing that Epstein ‘killed himself’ and Ghislaine is in federal prison for a hoax,” Musk posted.
He’s talking about Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate, who is currently serving time for trafficking underage girls to Epstein and his clients. Trump’s theory that the Epstein case is fake falls apart fast in the face of that fact — and Musk knows it.
Then Musk got even sharper: “Not a single Epstein client has been prosecuted,” he wrote. “Not even one.”
Musk posted about Epstein 13 times in just over an hour, hammering Trump and backing posts from others who are furious that the long-promised Epstein revelations still haven’t come.
“So many powerful people want that list suppressed,” Musk added in another post.

That “list” refers to Epstein’s rumored client list — the one Attorney General Pam Bondi once said was “on her desk.” The Trump administration now claims no such list exists.
The tension between Trump and Musk exploded last month when Musk accused Trump of personally hiding Epstein-related information.
“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files,” Musk posted. “That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”
He followed that up with, “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
The White House called Musk’s claims false, and he later deleted the posts. But the controversy didn’t die.
Last week, a leaked DOJ and FBI memo confirmed there is no Epstein client list. The White House tried again to shut the door on the scandal. Trump allies called for everyone to “move on.”
But the MAGA base isn’t buying it.

Right-wing figures like Alex Jones have slammed Trump, calling the situation a “trainwreck.” Some hardcore Trump fans have even burned their MAGA hats in protest.
There’s good reason for the outrage: Trump and Epstein had a history. The two were photographed together often in the ’90s and early 2000s, and audio obtained by The Daily Beast revealed Epstein once called Trump his “closest friend.”
Musk seems to be positioning himself as the one man willing to challenge the silence around Epstein — and he’s not sparing anyone, including Trump.
One user summarized the anger: “Trump indicated he’d release the Epstein files. Trump’s team hyped the release. Trump’s team fumbled the release. Yet Trump is blaming the Democrats and insulting his supporters for the consequences of his actions.”
Musk replied, “The old: 1. Admit nothing 2. Deny everything 3. Make counterclaims. But it won’t work this time.”
