At least four people are dead, and 2 more are injured, including a small child, after a mass shooting in Orange, California, Wednesday night, police said.

“Officers arrived as shots were being fired and located multiple victims at the scene including fatalities, the Orange Police Department said in a post on their Facebook page. The location was at 202 W. Lincoln Ave, Orange, an office complex.

The situation has been stabilized and there is no threat to the public, the police department said.

“Horrifying and heartbreaking. Our hearts are with the families impacted by this terrible tragedy tonight,” California Governor Gavin Newsom said in a tweet.
This is a developing story. The story will be updated.

Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA), whose district includes the city, issued a statement saying, “I’m deeply saddened by reports of a mass shooting in Orange County, and I’m continuing to keep victims and their loved ones in my thoughts as we continue to learn more. My team and I will continue to monitor the situation closely.”
