Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene went scorched-earth on her own party during a fiery appearance Tuesday on Alex Jones’ Infowars, accusing Republican leaders of protecting elite pedophiles linked to Jeffrey Epstein.
Speaking to the conspiracy theorist host, Greene called for the immediate appointment of a special counsel to dig into what she called a cover-up of Epstein’s ties to the powerful.
“I support having all the information released,” Greene said. “We should be the party of transparency, not the party that covers up the people that surrounded the most well-known pedophile in modern-day history. That disgusts me.”
The comments come after Attorney General Pam Bondi dismissed concerns that authorities had hidden a list of Epstein’s powerful clients. The MAGA base has been in an uproar, accusing the Trump administration of backtracking on promises to expose everyone involved.
Greene demanded that Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Deputy Director Dan Bongino “lead the effort” to go after “powerful rich elites that always get away with everything.”
When Jones pressed her on whether she had any inside knowledge about who told Trump to shut the investigation down, Greene went further, suggesting foreign governments might be involved.
“I believe it’s foreign countries’ government[s],” she said, naming Israel and the United Kingdom—though she admitted, “I don’t know” and had “not seen any evidence.”
Still, Greene defended the accusation: “Those are the speculations and guess what? It’s not wrong to speculate that.”
