Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene didn’t mince words Sunday as she pushed back against President Donald Trump, saying his public attacks have crossed a line and put her “life in danger.”

Trump pulled his endorsement of Greene late Friday after days of public sniping, then escalated things even further on Saturday by calling her a “traitor” on Truth Social — a label Greene blasted as “so extremely wrong.”

“Those are the types of words used that can radicalize people against me and put my life in danger,” she told CNN’s Dana Bash on State of the Union.

Pressed on why she thinks Trump suddenly turned his fire on her, Greene didn’t hedge. “Unfortunately, it all comes down to the Epstein files, and that is shocking,” she said.

The feud had already been boiling over. On Friday, Trump called Greene a “ranting lunatic” and vowed to back a primary challenger if “the right person runs.” He complained that while his administration has delivered on its agenda, “all I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie Taylor Greene do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!”

Greene hasn’t exactly been shy about criticizing Trump and the GOP throughout his second term. She opposed his strikes on Iran and blasted the party for failing to produce a real health-care plan during the government shutdown.

And this latest fight is rooted in one of the most politically radioactive issues on Capitol Hill: the effort to force the Justice Department to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. Greene was one of four House Republicans — along with Thomas Massie, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace — who signed a discharge petition to force a vote on the bill. The petition, led by Massie and Democrat Ro Khanna, hit the signature threshold and secured a floor vote this week, despite Trump’s opposition.
