Minnesota AG Elevates Charge Against George Floyd’s Killer, Will Charge Three Other Officers Involved: Report

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison will be elevating murder charges against Derek Chauvin, the police officer who murdered George Floyd, and will also be charging the other three officers who were involved in Floyd’s death.

According to The Star Tribune, Ellison will be moving the charge on Chauvin from third-degree murder to second-degree murder. While officers Tou Thao, Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane will be charged with aiding and abetting murder.
