Former Lady Melania Trump Melania Trump lashed out at Stephanie Grisham, who served as the former first lady’s communications director and top staffer, over unflattering revelations Grisham made in her forthcoming book.
In her book, Grisham reveals a number of private details about the Trump family and presidency, which have been covered heavily in advance of Tuesday’s publication date —and Melania Trump wasn’t happy at all.
“The author is desperately trying to rehabilitate her tarnished reputation by manipulating and distorting the truth about Mrs.Trump,” she said in a statement issued by her office.
She added: “Ms. Grisham is a deceitful and troubled individual who doesn’t deserve anyone’s trust.”

The former president issued his own denunciation last week
“Too bad that sleaze bag publishers continue to report this very boring garbage,” Donald Trump said in his statement. “We and the MAGA movement are totally used to it. And someday in the not too distant future we will have our voice back and be treated fairly by the press.”
