Melania Trump Allegedly Dodging Lawsuits With Fake Address — Michael Wolff Reveals Where She Really Lives

Biographer Michael Wolff just popped a grenade into the Trump narrative about where Melania really lives — and it ain’t Mar-a-Lago.

During a recent episode of The Daily Beast “Inside Trump’s Head” podcast, Wolff said he’s uncovered the actual residence of First Lady Melania Trump: New York City, not Florida. The discovery is the centerpiece of a lawsuit Wolff has filed that could force Melania and even Donald Trump to testify under oath.

Wolff argues the Trump camp has been playing residency games to dodge being served legal papers in his federal lawsuit connected to the Trump–Epstein saga. Despite Melania’s Florida driver’s license and voter registration, Wolff says that’s flimsy evidence for her claiming Florida as her main home. On the podcast he laid out a blunt choice for the Trumps: “They are either going to have to prove that they live in Florida or accept the fact that she lives in New York.”

According to Wolff, it’s not just a matter of geography — it’s about transparency, accountability, and dragging the famously private first lady into a courtroom rather than letting her dodge legal scrutiny. He’s already argued that anti-SLAPP protections, meant to protect free speech, should counter what he calls a White House attempt to throttle dissent.

And Wolff didn’t just pull this out of thin air: he claims his team tried to serve Melania at her building in Manhattan, with staff confirming she lives there — yet refused to accept the lawsuit. That refusal, in Wolff’s telling, strengthens his argument that New York is her real base, not some Palm Beach address she uses for optics.

It’s textbook Trump drama: if Trump World can’t portray Melania as a smiling co-pilot riding shotgun in Florida, maybe they can bury her in the courts instead. But Wolff isn’t backing down. He’s raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of his legal fight — and now says he wants to wield anti-SLAPP law not just to defend his speech but to force answers about the Trump–Epstein connection that the White House would rather keep buried.

This whole mess grew out of Wolff’s lawsuit, which he says could finally compel sworn testimony about what he describes as an “assault on free speech” by the White House. His argument is that Melania’s legal maneuvers — and insistence that her Florida paperwork proves residency — are nothing more than cheap legal dodge plays.

Even as the White House circles wagons, this lawsuit has the potential to crack open far more than just a gripe over where Melania sleeps. In Wolff’s telling, it’s a lever into the opaque inner life of Trump World — and that is something the Trumps have long fought to keep off any courtroom stage.
