Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), a man with a history of criticizing former President Barack Obama, said on Tuesday that he will not critique Donald Trump’s performance as president.
On Tuesday, McConnell was pushed to answer a question about how Trump has acted as a leader in aftermath of George Floyd’s killing.
“I’m not going to critique other people’s performances,” McConnell told MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt.
It wasn’t even a month ago that McConnell told Obama that he should “keep his mouth shut” instead of criticizing Trump.
