In an attempt to discredit the Russia investigation conducted by Robert Mueller, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) inadvertently threw Donald Trump under the bus by claiming that he obstructed justice.
“The Mueller team obstructed way more justice than Trump ever did,” the Florida Republican wrote in a tweet.
While Gaetz voted against Trump’s impeachment for committing obstruction of justice, the Republican lawmaker now appears to admit the president did commit and offense.
The Mueller team obstructed way more justice than Trump ever did.

Twitter users decided to troll Gaetz for playing himself and the president with his tweet.
So you admit that Trump obstructed justice.

And still lying about that.

I had no idea there was a scale for obstruction of justice. I always thought that someone either obstructed justice or they didn’t. You know, Matt, obstruction being more like a toggle switch than a dimmer switch.

Wow, finally admitting Trump did.
