House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday that GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s “verbal assault” on Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez outside the House chamber is behavior that may need to be investigated by the House Ethics Committee, calling it an “abuse” on a fellow lawmaker. Pelosi said that the incident was reported to her leadership office.

“It’s so beyond the pale of anything that is in keeping with bringing honor to the House, or not bringing dishonor to the House. It’s so beyond the pale that you wonder … it probably is a matter for the Ethics Committee,” Pelosi said.

Meanwhile, Greene is raging on Twitter, demanding that Pelosi investigates AOC instead for “threatening the livelihood” of Republicans and denying that she was screaming at Ocasio-Cortez.

“Actually, @SpeakerPelosi the Ethics Commitee should look into @AOC for putting Trump admin staff and supporters on lists to destroy their lives and prevent future employment. She threatened the livelihoods of Americans for simply being Republicans,” The QAnon fanatic wrote, before adding: “BTW, there was no screaming.”

Greene also slammed Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger as “little Adam” for defending AOC.
