Donald Trump exploded in anger Sunday after radio host Charlamagne tha God criticized him during a Fox News interview — and said Americans are suffering under his leadership.
Charlamagne sat down with Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, for a rare Fox appearance Saturday night. In the 30-minute interview, Charlamagne slammed Trump’s record and said voters are still waiting for the “day one change” Trump promised.
“Right now people are hurting!” Charlamagne said. “He campaigned on immediate change. Day one change.”
When Lara Trump pushed back — “And you don’t think you’ve felt any change?” — Charlamagne didn’t flinch: “No.”
Trump fired back less than 24 hours later in a furious Truth Social post, calling Charlamagne a “racist sleazebag” and a “Low IQ individual.”
He also attacked Charlamagne’s stage name: “Why is he allowed to use the word ‘GOD’ when describing himself? Can anyone imagine the uproar there would be if I used that nickname?”
Trump claimed Charlamagne “has no idea what words are coming out of his mouth,” and “knows nothing about me or what I have done.” He then rattled off a list of exaggerated or false claims about his presidency, including that he ended five wars and “wiped out Iran’s nuclear capabilities.”
He also took another shot at President Joe Biden: “STUPID and CORRUPT JOE BIDEN set the record for doing the Worst Job as President, EVER.”
Trump insisted the U.S. is now booming under his leadership.
“Remember, one year ago our Country was DEAD, now it’s the ‘HOTTEST’ Country anywhere in the World. MAGA!!!”
Charlamagne, who has been critical of both parties, didn’t directly respond to Trump’s post — but his Fox News appearance clearly struck a nerve.
