This week, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told TMZ that he does not plan on attending Donald Trump’s farewell at Joint Base Andrews and will instead be attending Joe Biden’s inauguration.
Trump initially wanted a 21-gun salute and a military ceremony, but he will instead be holding a gathering of supporters outside in the Washington winter instead.
Graham, who has been one of Trump’s biggest loyalists in the U.S. Senate, will not be joining the president on his last day in office.
Graham also recently received heckles from Trump supporters at the Washington airport, many of who called him a “traitor.”
