Lindsey Graham Should Go Fight in Iran Himself, GOP Lawmaker Says

A Republican member of Congress is calling out Lindsey Graham over his relentless push for military escalation in Iran — and suggesting the South Carolina senator should be the one to go fight if he’s so eager for war.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), a staunch ally of Donald Trump, blasted Graham on social media Monday after the senator once again urged more aggressive U.S. action against Iran.

“There are some in the Senate that advocate for war everywhere. Lindsey Graham is one of them,” Luna wrote on X. “He does NOT tell the President what to do, nor does he control Congress.”

Then she delivered a blunt challenge: “If Senator Graham wants to go fight in a foreign conflict, let him be the first to volunteer.”

Luna’s comments highlight a growing divide inside the Republican Party over Trump’s escalating war with Iran.

While hawks like Graham continue to push for stronger military action, many figures in Trump’s political orbit — including several MAGA influencers — are warning against getting dragged into another long Middle East war.

The White House, however, has been touting the early stages of the conflict as a major military success.

According to the administration, the U.S. campaign known as **Operation Epic Fury** has already targeted more than 5,000 sites inside Iran and destroyed dozens of Iranian naval vessels.

But the human cost is already mounting.

The United States Department of Defense says at least seven U.S. service members have been killed since the fighting began. Iranian state media reports that roughly 1,000 people inside Iran have died since the war started on February 28.

Luna is not the only conservative voice taking aim at Graham’s aggressive rhetoric.

Former Fox news host Megyn Kelly also lashed out at the senator this week, mocking his constant media appearances calling for more military action.

“Since when did Lindsey Graham become our president?” Kelly wrote on X.

She also criticized conservative media for amplifying his voice, accusing outlets of putting Graham “on every show.”

Despite the criticism, the White House insists the relationship between Trump and Graham remains strong.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Republicans are broadly supportive of the president’s decision to launch combat operations.

“Republicans are unanimously supportive of President Trump’s bold decision to launch combat operations and end the threat posed by the Iranian terrorist regime,” she said in a statement to Politico.

Public opinion, however, appears far more divided.

Recent polling shows a majority of Americans oppose the military campaign against Iran. The same survey found that 77 percent of respondents believe the conflict could lead to a terrorist attack on U.S. soil.
