Lindsey Graham Leaves In Middle Of Impeachment Trial To Consult With Trump’s Lawyers

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is making it obvious that he will vote to acquit Donald Trump despite the evidence presented against him at his impeachment trial.

On Friday, while the trial was progressing and the Trump defense attorneys were standing on the floor of the Senate making their arguments, Graham left the trial to assist with Trump’s defense.

According to Punchbowl News co-founder John Bresnahan, Trump’s lawyers “actually pulled [Graham] off floor.”

The Recount also published a video of Graham leaving to confer with defense attorneys.

CNN’s Manu Raju reports Sen. Ted Cruz, who has also been assisting on strategy, was spotted today as well.

The Recount captured footage of the Texas Republican as well.
