Laura Loomer’s deposition in her defamation lawsuit against HBO’s Bill Maher quickly went off the rails after she was pressed to explain some of her most vulgar public statements—including a tweet where she claimed Vice President Kamala Harris had an “infested snatch.”

The far-right influencer is suing Maher over a joke he made in 2024, suggesting she was romantically involved with Donald Trump after she attended his only debate against Kamala Harris. Loomer claims that Maher’s comment damaged her career prospects—particularly her chance to work in a future Trump administration.

But during the deposition, things spiraled once Loomer was forced to confront her own words.

“TRUMP PROMISED ME A JOB”
Loomer, known for her far-right activism and inflammatory rhetoric, told attorneys she was offered a job by Trump himself during a private meeting in March 2023 at Mar-a-Lago.

“I was actually told that I was going to be working for President Trump when he hired me in his office… He said that he wanted to hire me on the spot, even though it was not a job interview,” Loomer said. According to her, Trump was “very impressed” with her political knowledge and reporting.

Loomer also claimed she was again promised a role in 2024.

“You’re coming to D.C. with me,” she recalled Trump telling her. She said Susie Wiles, a senior Trump advisor, also “promised a position multiple times.”

‘I WOULD HAVE BEEN ON FOX NEWS’
Loomer argued that working for Trump would’ve led to a high-paying media career—book deals, speaking gigs, TV roles, maybe even her own show.

“There are people that go on who work for administrations… They get to go work at boards. There’s people that get to have foundations… They get to, you know, get paid for speaking engagements… Look at somebody like Jen Psaki or Karine Jean-Pierre,” Loomer said. “It’s compounding damages. It’s punitive damages.”

THE ARBY’S COMMENT
Her online feuds also came up—especially one with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. In 2024, Loomer posted a racist tweet implying that the White House would “smell like curry” if Harris won. Greene called the comment “appalling and extremely racist,” saying it didn’t represent Republicans or Trump.

Loomer fired back by mocking Greene’s divorce and posting, “the Arby’s in your pants.”

Asked about this in the deposition, HBO lawyer Katherine Bolger wanted clarification:

BOLGER: “Can you explain to me what it means to say to her that ‘the Arby’s in her pants’?”
LOOMER: “Arby’s sells roast beef.”
BOLGER: “You’re literally saying she put Arby’s in her pants?”
LOOMER: “I’m saying she literally — it’s so ridiculous. I’m saying she literally put Arby’s in her pants. Yes.”

THE ‘INFESTED SNATCH’ REMARK
But the most explosive moment came when Bolger grilled Loomer on a tweet in which she said Kamala Harris had an “infested snatch.”

Loomer tried to dodge responsibility:

LOOMER: “I don’t know what I was referring to, honestly. I could be referring to Kamala Harris, herself.”
BOLGER: “You’re talking about her body; you’re talking about her vagina?”
LOOMER: “No. I’m just talking about Kamala Harris.”
BOLGER: “Well, a snatch is a vagina; isn’t it?”
LOOMER: “It’s up for interpretation.”

That’s when Bolger exploded:

BOLGER: “Be the First Amendment warrior you claim to be and admit that you were saying that the vice president of the United States had an infested vagina. Admit it… Ms. First Amendment warrior won’t admit it.”
LOOMER: “I’m not a coward. I’m just not going to be —”
BOLGER: “You’re a coward.”
