Lara Trump’s claim about the RNC having lawsuits in ’81 states’ triggered an avalanche of mockery on social media. Her wild claim came during an interview with Newsmax, which that the Democratic National Committee shared on X Wednesday afternoon.
“We have lawsuits in 81 states right now,” Lara Trump declared. “We’re going to have lawyers in all the major polling locations.”
Her announcement was met with a wave of sarcastic responses.
“Who wants to tell her?,” asked the group Republicans Against Trump.
“Math is hard!” replied the Lincoln Project.
“Best hire ever!!!!” wrote the Decoding Fox News account.

A comedy writer also chimed in, suggesting the RNC’s favorite state might just be the state of denial. And someone else joked about Lara’s fantastical list of states, including gems like “West Missitucky and Upper Narnia.”
Another user suggested Lara’s campaigning in states Democrats haven’t even dreamed of, while another speculated that maybe the RNC’s empty coffers are “due to all the legal fees from these mythical states.”
