Kid Rock has reportedly broken up with his fiancée, Audrey Berry, after seven years together. The news comes after the singer was spotted getting into a cab with Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert following an event for Donald Trump at 2:30 a.m., according to multiple reports.

A source told Us Weekly on Friday that the breakup happened weeks ago, and now the singer is “venturing into the dating pool.”

Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, proposed to Berry in April 2017 after keeping their relationship private since 2011. However, neither Rock nor Berry have publicly commented on the breakup. The Independent has reached out to Kid Rock’s representatives for a statement.

The story first made headlines when TMZ reported that Rock and Boebert were seen chatting the day after the January 20 event. The 54-year-old Rock and 38-year-old Boebert were spotted talking at one of the inaugural parties. TMZ mentioned that Boebert seemed to be enjoying herself, dancing and clapping as if she were at one of Rock’s concerts, “giving Kid Rock all the hype he needed.”

According to Page Six, the two not only chatted but also left the event together in a cab. The report didn’t say where they went.

When Page Six reached out to Boebert’s press aide, they declined to comment, saying, “I think we’ll pass.”

In addition to his interaction with Boebert, Kid Rock made headlines recently for hitting on a BBC presenter. Last month, he stunned BBC News anchor Caitríona Perry during a live interview by telling her, “You sound sexy.”

During the interview, Perry mentioned she was standing outside in cold weather. Kid Rock responded by saying, “I love to go skiing. You sound sexy, you want to go with me?”

Perry, surprised, laughed awkwardly before replying, “Well we won’t get into that right here! We’re doing no skiing here, we’ve got a day of broadcasting to do.”

The moment quickly went viral on social media, with many calling out Rock for his behavior. TV critic Scott Bryan wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Kid Rock flirting on BBC News is some of the most awkward television you’ll see this year.”
