On Sunday, U.S. House Representative Jim Jordan, of Ohio, revealed that the Republican Party’s ultimate goal, if they win back the House and the Senate in 2022, is to “frame-up” an electoral win for Donald Trump in 2024. Jordan’s stunning admission came during an interview on Fox News.
“My background is in wrestling,” Jordan began. “We always say never be overconfident. Just be confident so we can be overcome,” he added before blurring out that the GOP strategy is to use the House Oversight Committee to help Trup win another term in 2024.
“What we’ll do if, in fact, we get power back, is investigations the oversight will do so the American will get the truth. The legislation will pass, Even though Joe Biden won’t sign it, but it will help frame up the 2024 race if you put us back in power, and that’ll help frame up the presidential election for President Trump.,” Jordan told host Mark Levin.
Republicans have said that they plan to launch a series of investigations into President Biden, his administration, and his previous work under President Barack Obama’s administration as revenge for impeaching Trump.
