Televangelist and prominent supporter of Donald Trump, Jim Bakker, told his audience on Wednesday that his support for the president has put his life in danger.
According to Bakker, God told him that preachers that support the president are going to get killed.
“We supported the president, and so they want to destroy me,” Bakker said in a video clip flagged by Right Wing Watch. “God spoke to me a year ago or more that the next thing that’s going to happen is that people are going to kill preachers who believe in the Bible, that believe the whole Bible is the truth.”
“I’m very serious [about] it,” he added. “I know what’s coming. I know what the Spirit of God is saying.”
