Jasmine Crockett Drops New Nickname Bomb on Trump as She Slams His Racist Fear Tactics

Rep. Jasmine Crockett is not here to mince words — especially when it comes to Donald Trump. The Texas congresswoman unloaded a fiery takedown of the president during a blistering segment on MSNBC’s The Weekend: Primetime, calling out what she described as his “authoritarian” tactics and laying the blame for Americans’ everyday struggles squarely at his feet.

But it wasn’t just her usual scathing analysis that turned heads this time. It was the nickname: “the old white nepo baby that is sitting in the White House.”

And she didn’t stop there.

In a segment focused on Trump’s attempt to sidestep a court order and deploy troops to Portland, Oregon — despite the court’s finding that the protests were too small to warrant such a response — Crockett slammed his administration as “rogue.”

Trump’s authoritarian tendencies, she argued, aren’t just overreaches of power; they’re fundamentally about controlling the narrative and deflecting blame. And a big part of that narrative, she said, is demonizing immigrants.

“It is all of our problems because immigrants contribute to this country. Stop falling for the okey doke. Stop believing the lies that they are putting out there in the terrible racist tropes that they are constantly using to rile people up,” Crockett said.

With the tone of someone done with the gaslighting, she laid out exactly who Americans should be angry at — and spoiler alert, it’s not immigrants, trans people, Black Americans, or women.

“It is time to recognize that while you thought the enemy was the immigrant, or you thought the enemy was the trans person, or you thought the enemy was the Black folk, or you thought the enemy were the women,” she said.

“When the reality is that the only person that is harming you right now, if you are struggling to make sure that you can pay your bills, if you’re struggling to feed your family, if you are struggling to find a job, if you are struggling to keep your business open, or if you are a farmer.”

Crockett pointed to the alarming spike in farm bankruptcies as one example of who’s really getting hurt under Trump’s leadership.

“While we currently have record-level bankruptcies by farmers, it is not any of those people on the list. It is the old white nepo baby that is sitting in the White House that is causing all the destruction, pain and problems that you are enduring.”

Old. White. Nepo. Baby.

OWNB. It’s a label that sticks — not just because it’s savage, but because it captures the growing frustration among those who feel left behind by a president who talks populism but governs for profit.

Crockett’s takedown fits into a larger pattern of her no-holds-barred approach to Trump, who’s made a habit of targeting her intelligence and character in his rants. She’s previously called him a “wannabe Hitler” and accused him flat-out of being a “white supremacist.”

Now, with this latest nickname, Crockett might have just branded Trump in a way that cuts deeper than any long-winded critique could. It’s mockery with teeth — and with a bite that echoes far beyond the Sunday political shows.

Because in an era of soundbites and viral slogans, calling Trump a dictator hits hard. But calling him “the old white nepo baby”? That hits home.
