Supermodel Karlie Kloss, who is married to Joshua Kushner, brother of White House adviser Jared Kushner, will campaign for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Thursday, according got Business Insider.
“The event will promote the former vice president’s 2020 agenda on women and education, focusing on young women in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math, otherwise known as STEAM,” noted The Insider. “Kloss will be joined by Girls Who Code founder Reshma Saujani and other speakers.”
Mrs. Kloss identifies as a liberal, along with her husband, Joshua Kushner, a venture capitalist and entrepreneur. They married in 2018.
“I’m sure I’m not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics,” Kloss said earlier this year. “I voted as a Democrat in 2016 and I plan to do the same in 2020.”
Kloss once described the political differences among family members in an interview with British Vogue as “hard” but said she chose “to focus on the values that I share with my husband, and those are the same liberal values that I was raised with and that have guided me throughout my life.”
