While South Carolina is seen as a red state that should easily give Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) a reelection win, it doesn’t seem like that will be the case this year.
Jamie Harrison, Graham’s Democratic challenger, is gathering more and more support for his campaign to unseat the Republican incumbent.
On Thursday, Harrison announced that his campaign had raised a million dollars over night.

Harrison’s announcement comes after a new Quinnipiac University poll showed the South Carolina Senate raced at a deadlock tie at 48-48.
While in the past Graham has triumphed quite easily, this year looks like an uphill battle for the Republican. His unpopularity has grown after supporting many controversial policies and actions made by Donald Trump.
