On Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) continued up her antisemitic rants on Twitter, prompting internet users to forcefully push back at her “enthusiasm for telling people how much she really hates the Jews.”
Greene once again compared public health advocates to Nazis as she attacked a grocery store chain for lifting its mask mandate requirements for employees and customers who can provide proof of full vaccination.
“Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazi’s forced Jewish people to wear a gold star,” she wrote. “Vaccine passports & mask mandates create discrimination against unvaxxed people who trust their immune systems to a virus that is 99% survivable.”
Greene’s illiterate rant against vaccinations drew swift blowback. But social media users aren’t just blaming Greene for her early Tuesday morning screed. They are blaming House Minority Leader McCarthy, who has been dubbed ‘biggest coward ever” for allowing Greene to continue to spread hate online.
Check out some reactions below.
To associate a “vaccination logo” with the Judenstern Jews were forced to wear is an appalling affront to the memory of those lost in the Holocaust. https://t.co/0DsDki3P7s

A party that wants this person as a member is a party that should never be allowed to govern. https://t.co/ZYecr0ZMGL

Ignorance is not the problem, here. She just hates the Jews and can't really contain her enthusiasm for telling people this…

McCarthy because he enables Boebert, Greene and Gaetz.

Can a person be more racist publicly than Greene? McCarthy has to be the biggest coward ever to hold a leadership position or he’s just as racist. I’m starting to think he’s just as racist.

This isn’t the Holocaust. Talk to actual Jewish people. Mask mandates and vaccination mandates are things that our founders would approve of. They didn’t like hicks that didn’t understand science. Did you know George Washington made his soldiers to be inoculated against smallpox?
