MAGA fanatic Martin Joseph Anglehart says he’s regretful after getting involved with the anti-vaccine mandate “Freedom Convoy” protests in Canada, lamenting that he has “nothing left” because he spent his entire life savings helping the anti-vaccine convoy, according to local station CBC reports.
Speaking with CBC, Anglehart said that he joined the convoy protests earlier this year and started out delivering fuel and laundry to the protesters as they occupied major cities, including key bridges that are used as major trade routes.
But the bills quickly started to pile up and he eventually ran out of money, CBC reported, highlighting bank statements provided by Anglehart.
The statements show that “from Jan. 28 to Feb. 14, Anglehart transferred thousands of dollars and spent thousands more at a gas station near Coventry Road — where he was stationed for the majority of the protest,” the news outlet reported.
Anglehart tells CBC that he regrets that he now has “nothing left” and said he “would like to apologize to [the] people in Ottawa.”
“I’m sorry… All I wanted was to help people,” Anglehart said.
According to the report, “Anglehart is currently living out of his SUV, as he said his landlord kicked him out over his ‘point of view’ concerning the protest.”
