A former close aide to Donald Trump is sounding the alarm that the president isn’t really in charge — he’s being controlled by a foreign leader.
Lev Parnas, who worked closely with Trump and his team and played a role in events leading to Trump’s first impeachment, says Trump is now “takin orders” from foreign powers who act like his real bosses.
Parnas, once a trusted insider, wrote in a recent piece titled Trump’s War on Truth Explodes — Nuclear Lies, Media Attacks, FBI Abuse,
“This week will go down in history — not just for what happened, but for how hard they’re trying to rewrite it.”
He explained, “What we’re watching isn’t just an international crisis. It’s a coordinated disinformation campaign, a national security threat, and a blatant assault on democracy, all unfolding in real time.”
Parnas called out Trump allies like Pete Hegseth and Karoline Leavitt for falsely claiming the U.S. military strike on Iran “completely obliterated” Iran’s nuclear program.
“But it’s a lie. And they know it,” he said. Instead of admitting the truth, the government is now targeting the whistleblower who revealed Iran’s nuclear sites remain intact.
“The leaker who revealed that Iran’s nuclear infrastructure is still intact is now being targeted by federal agents.”
Parnas warned that Trump’s team plans to block Congress from getting the full story.
“My sources now confirm that Trump’s team plans to stonewall Congress. Even Lindsey Graham admitted, ‘We still don’t know where the 900 pounds of uranium are.’ Let that sink in.”
He explained Trump’s method of holding power is by rewriting history.
“Trump started it with the 2020 election lie, saying it was stolen. He repeated it so much that tens of millions still believe it. Now he’s applying that same blueprint to foreign policy. He’s lying about the Iran strike. He’s lying about nuclear weapons. He’s even lying about our allies and enemies.”
Meanwhile, Iran is cutting off inspectors and blocking access to nuclear monitors, allowing them to build weapons secretly — and Trump is doing nothing to stop it.
Parnas added that Iran’s oil is now headed to China.
“Trump claims he’s tough on China. But he just handed them discounted oil on a silver platter and let Iran resume nuclear development,” he said.
“And if that wasn’t enough, Russian diplomats are now in D.C. — not making deals, but delivering Putin’s demands. Trump isn’t running foreign policy. He’s taking orders.”
