A lockdown at the Republican National Committee (RNC) headquarters on Wednesday morning was prompted by a disturbing discovery: vials of blood. Hazmat teams were dispatched to the building, as reported by Brian Krassenstein.
NBC News correspondent Julie Tsirkin informed her audience via X that the vials of blood were delivered to the building located at 310 First St. SE.
“Access to the RNC premises remains restricted,” Tsirkin updated around 9:40 a.m. “[U.S. Capitol Police] have cleared the substances. Staff members are still evacuated at present.”
The all-clear signal was given around 9:30 a.m., as reported by a correspondent from Fox News.
