During the second day of Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) took to the Senate floor and played two shocking videos that showed different perspectives of the same incident of violent Trump supporters storming the U.S. Capitol.
In the first video, insurrectionists are seen attempting to storm the Capitol from the perspective of a security camera inside the building as police attempted to hold them back.
Swalwell then played the same video from the perspective of a police body camera. It revealed the terrifying experience of a massive crowd of people coming at the officers. The officers were clearly outnumbered but they stood firm with their bodies between the members and attackers.
