Donald Trump on Sunday beseeched the Supreme Court to intervene in his upcoming sentencing for 34 criminal convictions related to business records fraud in New York, according to a report.

Over the weekend, Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to hurl a tirade against the July sentencing, which could result in jail time for the former president.

“The ‘Sentencing’ for not having done anything wrong will be, conveniently for the Fascists, 4 days before the Republican National Convention,” Trump railed, alleging that the entire judicial system was a vast conspiracy designed to ruin him.

“A Radical Left Soros-backed D.A., who ran on a platform of ‘I will get Trump,’ reporting to an ‘Acting’ Local Judge, appointed by the Democrats, who is HIGHLY CONFLICTED, will make a decision which will determine the future of our Nation?” he questioned. “The United States Supreme Court MUST DECIDE!”

Trump’s post set off a cascade of ridicule, with some social media users educating the former president that the Supreme Court doesn’t wield the power to overrule his Hush Money trial
