Federal authorities have arrested two Trump rioters and charged them with assaulting the late Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick, who died after being attacked by a violent MAGA mob during the attack on the United States Capitol building on January 6th.

The men, 32-year-old Julian Elie Khater, of Pennsylvania, and 39-year-old George Pierre Tanios, of West Virginia, were arrested Sunday, The Washington Post reports.

Prosecutors allege that they have footage showing Khater discharging a canister of bear spray into Sicknick’s face during the January 6th riots.

Tanios and Khater are facing a total of nine criminal counts, including charges of assaulting Sicknick and two other offices during the riots. Both men are expected to appear in federal court Monday.
