In a Twitter thread, Musk called Trump too old to be Chief Executive of anything.

“Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America,” Musk tweeted.

“I don’t hate the man, but it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat & sail into the sunset,” he added in another tweet.

Musk also said it’s “not true” that he voted for Trump in past elections.

The response from Musk comes days after he sent a letter to Twitter executives aiming to terminate his deal to buy the company. The social media giant has called Musk’s attempts to back out of the deal “invalid and wrongful” and has filed a lawsuit in response, stating the billionaire is obligated to complete the deal.
