Donald Trump’s recent tirade against Vice President Kamala Harris spectacularly backfired, igniting a firestorm on social media that swiftly turned against him.
Just one day after President Joe Biden threw his weight behind Harris for reelection, Trump callously dismissed her as “dumb as a rock,” sparking an explosive trend on X.
However, the overwhelming majority of posts didn’t rally behind the former president.
Instead, Trump’s detractors seized upon the insult to mercilessly hurl back some of his most notorious gaffes and outlandish statements, from suggesting disinfectants as COVID-19 treatments to spinning tales about windmill cancer and even gazing directly at a solar eclipse.
