President Donald Trump on Wednesday slammed Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp as an “obstructionist” and demanded his resignation for “refusing” to intervene in the state’s presidential election or embrace Trump’s baseless claims of voter fraud.

“Hearings from Atlanta on the Georgia Election overturn now being broadcast. Check it out,” Trump wrote on Twitter before turning his ire against Kemp.

“[Brian Kemp] should resign from office. He is an obstructionist who refuses to admit that we won Georgia, BIG! Also won the other Swing States.”

Trump last week called on his followers to vote Kemp out of office when the Georgia Republican seeks re-election in two years for being “disloyal.”
