What started as a heated political debate quickly spiraled into chaos when MAGA commentator Adam Sosnick threw a tampon at liberal panelist Ana Kasparian live on air — right after calling her “pretty emotional.”
The explosive moment happened on Her Take, a talk show where men and women go head-to-head on controversial issues. Tensions had already been running high as the panel debated the Israel-Iran conflict. Things took a turn when Sosnick pressed Kasparian about her political leanings.
“Did you vote for Trump? Let me ask you, who did you vote for?” Sosnick asked.
“Adam, are you f****** kidding me right now? You can be ‘America first’ and not vote for Trump,” she snapped back.
Sosnick fired back: “No, if you were ‘America first,’ you would’ve voted for Trump,” before dismissing her as “a progressive.”
The conversation turned explosive after Kasparian criticized the Israeli military.
She accused the IDF of “killing a lot of innocent people” and slammed pundits who refuse to speak out against Israeli actions.
Sosnick pushed back hard, saying: “I’m critical of Israel just like I’m critical of America, so if America makes mistakes, I’ll call them out. If Israel makes mistakes, I will call them out. I don’t understand what you’re doing when you’re trying to be pro-Hamas and pro-Iran.”
Kasparian demanded fairness: “I’m trying to have an honest exchange with you – I’m not putting words in your mouth, please don’t put words in my mouth.”
But Sosnick cut her off again: “You can talk when I’m done talking, and that’s how this will work, no?”
Kasparian pushed back: “But you straw-man me and argue that I’m making arguments that I didn’t make.”
Sosnick replied, “Just like you straw-manned me and said that I’m Israel-first.”
Things spiraled when she warned, “I’m going to interrupt you if you lie about what I’m saying.”
“So you’re a grown-up when you argue. Got it,” Sosnick mocked.
“I am a grown-up, yeah. Go ahead,” she replied.
That’s when Sosnick crossed the line.
“So, you seem very emotional, and I threw you a tissue just in case. I also have a tampon in case you need a tampon,” he said, pulling one from his pocket and tossing it on the table.
Jillian Michaels, another panelist, didn’t hold back: “Adam, she’s going to beat the s*** out of you, and I’m going to let her.”
“It’s a tampon, just in case you start crying,” Sosnick added, doubling down.
Amy Dangerfield, another co-host, quickly grabbed the tampon and threw it away, visibly disgusted.
The debate continued, but the damage was done. Online backlash came swiftly.
“How pathetic is Adam that he had to bring a tampon to the debate because he knew he would lose against you lmao,” wrote X user Leslie Torres.
Kasparian responded the next day: “He came prepared with a tampon in his pocket because he had no rebuttals or substantive counters. Pathetic.”
