Disgraced attorney Alex Murdaugh was hit with two life sentences on Friday morning for the brutal murders of his wife Maggie, 52, and son, Paul, 22. Hours after sentencing, authorities released a chilling new mugshot, and the internet has a lot to say about his looks.
The look is much different than the one Murdaugh had when he was sentenced. At that time, he had short reddish hair. This time, Murdaugh is seen with a shaved head and a yellow jumpsuit. A source told reporters that it is standard procedure to shave incoming inmates’ heads.
The internet quickly reacted to the new look of Murdaugh.

Prosecutors said that Murdaugh killed his wife and son to distract from his string of financial crimes – at a time when his multi-million-dollar fraud scheme was on the brink of being exposed. Jurors were told that on the day of the murders, Murdaugh was confronted by his law firm CFO about missing money that he had stolen.
Murdaugh confessed to stealing millions from clients at his law firm but largely blamed it on his opioid addiction. He will be held at the Kirkland Correctional Facility while the South Carolina Department of Corrections (SCDC) determines where he will serve time permanently.
