During an event in South Carolina, President Joe Biden amused the audience by merely mentioning the name of Georgia congresswoman and a notorious conspiracy theorist Marjorie Taylor Greene (R).

Emphasizing the achievements of his economic agenda, Biden highlighted the presence of over 60 domestic manufacturing announcements throughout the solar supply chain since he assumed office. Notably, he pointed out one of the significant announcements in Dalton, Georgia, which happens to be the district of Taylor Greene.

As the crowd reacted with laughter, Biden added, “I’ll be there for the groundbreaking,” accompanied by a mischievous smile.

Greene, who is known for spreading outlandish and unhinged conspiracy theories, made headlines last year for speaking at a white nationalist event. She has also faced criticism for advocating a “national divorce” that would separate red and blue states, a proposition deemed “treasonous.”

Biden took the opportunity to elicit laughter on more than one occasion by mentioning Greene’s name. In an earlier instance this year, he playfully referenced her and then paused, making the sign of the cross. Amused by the gesture, the crowd responded with laughter, prompting Biden to remark, “I’m gonna be good.”
