Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is now ahead of Donald Trump in Michigan, after trailing the president in the overall vote throughout Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning.
Biden now has 2,485,743 votes in Michigan, compared to Trump’s 2,478,801 votes with 89 percent of the vote reporting, the New York Times reports.
The former Vice President is also leading in Nevada and Wisconsin. He is also gaining ground in the state of Georgia with ballots in Democratic counties still to be counted.
The Times elections analyst Nate Cohn reported that Biden now leads in enough states to accrue 270 electoral votes and win the election.
