The Phoenix Fire Department’s Arson Investigation Taskforce is currently examining the circumstances surrounding the fire. Election officials have stated they are awaiting further details from law enforcement.

Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer emphasized the importance of checking ballot statuses, advising voters who used the mailbox in the last 36 hours to visit https://BeBallotReady.Vote for updates.

“Successful delivery is typically reflected on that website within 72 hours,” he noted.

In the 2020 election, President Joe Biden secured a victory over former President Donald Trump in Maricopa County by a margin of over two points.
