Jane Elliot has been an anti-racism activist her entire life and is known for her “Blue eyes/Brown eyes” exercise. She has been outspoken about the racism that continues to happen in America to this day.
We discovered an exclusive interview of hers with Black Nouveau where she spoke about the different problems of racism. In the interview, she touched on the topic of Donald Trump after interviewer James Causey asked her if the president has made racism more acceptable after being elected.
According to Elliot, Trump has absolutely brought out the racism in people and has made it more acceptable.
Elliot explains how she has received more hate mail since Trump became president.
