This week, two Wisconsin Republican congressmen faced tough questions and boos from their voters during town halls, as more people show frustration with President Donald Trump’s actions.

Rep. Scott Fitzgerald was asked tough questions about Ukraine and Elon Musk’s involvement in the Department of Government Efficiency during a town hall in West Bend, Wisconsin, on Thursday, according to CNN affiliate TMJ4.

One person in the crowd asked, “How can we be represented by you if you don’t have a voice in Congress?” Others held signs, including one that said, “presidents are not kings,” referencing a social media post where Trump called himself a “king.”

Fitzgerald disagreed with Trump’s recent claim that Ukraine started the war with Russia. He said, “No, Ukraine did not start the war,” and added that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should be involved in peace talks to end the war.

Rep. Glenn Grothman also faced tough questions from voters about issues like Medicare, Medicaid, diversity programs, and Social Security during crowded town halls in Fox Crossing and Algoma on Friday, according to CNN affiliate WBAY. Some people in the crowd even booed him.

Grothman defended Elon Musk’s efforts, saying, “I think if they understood more about what was going on, they would like him. They just don’t believe how much he is trying to help the average person.”

These town hall reactions are part of a larger pattern of voters expressing anger. Recently, GOP Rep. Rich McCormick of Georgia and GOP Rep. Cliff Bentz of Oregon also faced criticism and boos from their own constituents.
