House Democrats on Tuesday turned up the heat in the impeachment process by releasing a throve of new evidence against President Donald Trump. It turns out this new evidence is only just the beginning.
The house has a lot more up its sleeve against Trump, according to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff.
“We are still going through, because the volume is so large, the materials we received … so it’s entirely possible there will be new and important evidence that comes out of the information that we’ve been receiving,” Schiff said, according to CNN’s Manu Raju.
Lev Parnas turned over thousands of pages of documents to the House on Monday, so what we saw the House release yesterday was likely just the low hanging fruit that they were able to find the most quickly while searching the documents.
Some of this evidence will take longer to parse, translate, and place within the context of existing facts. But there’s obviously more coming.
Schiff says more Parnas materials may come out. “We are still going through, because the volume is so large, the materials we received. .. so it's entirely possible there will be new and important evidence that comes out of the information that we've been receiving,” @jeremyherb
