Donald Trump kicked off his morning with another meltdown online, this time bizarrely targeting former First Lady Jill Biden over her reaction to Joe Biden’s disastrous 2024 debate performance.
In a rambling rage post, Trump mocked Jill Biden for admitting she feared her husband might be suffering a medical emergency during the now-infamous debate, then attacked her for not physically running onto the stage to help him.
Yes, that actually happened.
“Jill Biden is now out there finally admitting that she did NOT know what went wrong with Sleepy Joe during our spectacular, and highly rated, 2024 Presidential Debate,” Trump wrote.
He then veered into deeply strange territory.
“She said that she thought he was having a ‘stroke,’ and various other really bad things, and yet never rushed onto the stage to help her troubled husband, as any good wife would do,” Trump added.
The post immediately triggered backlash online, with critics calling the comments creepy, unhinged, and wildly inappropriate — even for Trump.
The outburst came after excerpts surfaced from Jill Biden’s upcoming memoir, View from the East Wing, in which she described her horror watching Joe Biden struggle through the June 2024 debate against Trump.
“As I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh, my God, he’s having a stroke,’” she said in an interview with CBS News.
In the book, she reportedly wondered whether Biden was “short-circuiting” or even “drugged” during the debate, comparing the moment to watching “an AI hologram” glitching onstage.
The disastrous performance ultimately became the defining turning point of Biden’s reelection campaign, fueling panic inside the Democratic Party and eventually leading him to step aside and endorse Kamala Harris.
But Trump’s post quickly became less about Biden and more about himself. As usual.
After attacking Jill Biden, Trump immediately pivoted into praising his own debate performance and suggesting he was simply too overpowering for Biden to handle.
“The only thing she failed to mention was how well I was doing prior to his near total collapse,” Trump wrote.
He then floated the idea that Biden may have “choked” because Trump was performing so strongly.
“In other words, as many have asked, did my strong performance in that debate cause him to plain and simple ‘choke’?” Trump asked.
Naturally, he ended the rant by declaring that only he knows the truth.
“Nobody else knows the answer to that, BUT I DO!!!”
The post is just the latest example of Trump obsessively reliving the 2024 debate that reshaped the presidential race and helped propel him back into the White House.
