‘She Knows What’s Coming’: Ex-Prosecutor Says Melania Spoke Out on Epstein to Get Ahead of Explosive Recordings

A former Florida prosecutor says Melania Trump may have had a strategic reason for publicly denying any connection to Jeffrey Epstein — and it has little to do with “social circles.”

During an appearance on MSNBC’s MS NOW, former Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg suggested the first lady’s remarks were an attempt to get ahead of potentially damaging material that could soon become public.

“I think she knows what’s coming,” Aronberg said, pointing to reports that journalist Michael Wolff may possess recordings allegedly connected to Epstein.

Melania Trump recently addressed the issue directly, insisting she was never part of Epstein’s inner circle. But Aronberg argued the timing of that denial is what stands out.

“This isn’t really about social circles,” he explained. “It’s about those recordings and trying to get ahead of the story.”

Aronberg noted that while Melania has downplayed any association, there are widely circulated photos showing her alongside Donald Trump, Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell at public events — evidence, he said, of overlapping proximity if not a direct relationship.

More significantly, he pointed to ongoing legal tensions between Melania Trump and Wolff, suggesting that dispute may be tied to the alleged recordings.

According to claims referenced during the segment, the recordings are said to include Epstein’s voice making personal assertions about Donald and Melania Trump. Those claims remain unverified, and no such recordings have been publicly released.

Still, Aronberg believes the first lady’s decision to speak out now is no coincidence.

“She’s trying to get ahead of it,” he said, adding that concerns over what could emerge next may be driving the public response.

Melania Trump has firmly denied any meaningful connection to Epstein, and no evidence has surfaced tying her to any wrongdoing. However, Aronberg’s remarks underscore growing speculation that additional material linked to Epstein — and those in his orbit — could soon come to light.
