Donald Trump went on a late-night rampage on Truth Social, posting hundreds of messages and screenshots that left observers scrambling to keep up. Hours of nonstop activity saw the president circulating debunked conspiracy theories, targeting former President Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and far-right commentators alike.
Republicans Against Trump weighed in, warning that the president appears to be “spiraling out of control.” Their post reads: “Trump spent hours last night blasting out hundreds of posts filled with 2020 lies, Jan 6 lies, and furious attacks on Biden, Obama, and many others. He is spiraling out of control.” They attached a nearly five-minute video showing a compilation of the content Trump had shared.
Among the most extreme claims, Trump shared a video suggesting Michelle Obama had used Biden’s autopen in the final days of his presidency—an allegation originating from InfoWars. Trump then escalated the conspiracy, announcing he would nullify all Biden orders signed with an autopen.
In one post, Trump stated: “Any document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden with the Autopen, which was approximately 92% of them, is hereby terminated, and of no further force or effect.”
This is far from the first time Trump has claimed the Biden administration forged the president’s signature using an autopen. Despite there being no evidence to support it, he has repeatedly returned to the theory, earning ridicule and being called a “lunatic” by concerned members of the public.
Trump also shared a screenshot from InfoWars in which Alex Jones claimed Michelle Obama “may have used Biden’s autopen in the final days of his disastrous administration to pardon key individuals.” While entirely unfounded, the theory fits with Trump’s ongoing obsession with the autopen and his narrative about Biden’s legitimacy.
Throughout the night, Truth Social became a nonstop stream of personal attacks, conspiracy theories, and political grievances. Observers say the posts reveal a leader increasingly untethered, obsessed with rewriting recent history in real time, and willing to amplify the wildest claims for his audience.
