Republican Who Mocked Biden For Stumbling On Plane, Wildly Mocked On Twitter For Falling On Plane

Staff Writer

President Joe Biden has experienced several falls in the past few years, including stumbling while ascending the ramp to Air Force One and negotiating a stage at a military awards ceremony. Predictably, Republicans were swift to mock the President, attributing his stumbles to his advancing age. In a turn of events, one of those who had ridiculed Biden’s unsteady gait, Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), found himself being mocked on social media for falling down a plane ramp, and people can’t stop watching the video.

On Wednesday, users posted footage of Tuberville slipping down a row of steps while disembarking from an airplane, prompting widespread circulation on Twitter where people coined nicknames like “Tommy Tumbleville.”

Democratic influencer Brooklyn Dad humorously commented, “Queen Karma paid Tommy Tuberville a visit. Stay as long as you like, ma’am. 🤣”

Earlier in July, Tuberville had mocked Biden’s falls, stating, “You watch Joe Biden over in Europe. I mean, I’m afraid he’s going to fall down every time I turn on the television.”

This led some Twitter users to highlight what they perceived as Tuberville’s hypocrisy, citing an incident from 2014 where Tuberville himself had fallen down some stairs.

“Old people fall all the time,” remarked one person. “Here’s 60-year-old Tommy Tuberville falling down some stairs in 2014 before losing to UVA in… wait for it… the Military Bowl.”

Another Twitter user wrote, “I will not apologize for enjoying watching Tommy Tuberville exit a plane on his a–, Seems quite fitting after all the trouble he causes.”
