Former President Trump on Thursday launched a barrage of insults directed at President Biden, criticizing him on a personal level as Trump’s legal troubles continue to increase.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote: “What Crooked Joe Biden, who can’t string two sentences together, has done to our once great Country through his Open Borders CATASTROPHE, may go down as the greatest and most damaging mistake ever made in USA HISTORY,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It is not even believable that such incompetence and stupidity could have been allowed to happen.”

Trump went on to assert that Biden has the “mind, ideas, and I.Q. of a First Grader” and branded him “A MENTAL CATASTROPHE THAT IS LEADING OUR COUNTRY TO HELL!”

This escalating rhetoric from Trump coincides with his growing legal predicaments. He faces felony charges in Manhattan related to an alleged hush money arrangement aimed at concealing an affair before the 2016 election. Additionally, he confronts federal felony charges in Florida for retaining classified materials after leaving office, as well as federal charges in Washington, D.C., for his attempts to undermine the 2020 election outcome and cling to power.

Trump is also anticipated to encounter charges in Georgia in the approaching weeks over his efforts to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.

The former president has frequently portrayed these charges as an attempt by Biden to interfere in the election due to Trump’s lead in the GOP primary polls. However, neither Biden nor White House officials have publicly commented on Trump’s legal matters, emphasizing their separation from the Justice Department.

A recent poll by The New York Times and Siena College indicated a tie between Trump and Biden in a hypothetical 2024 showdown, each garnering support from 43 percent of voters.

Trump’s inflammatory language follows an incident where a Utah man was fatally shot during an FBI raid linked to threats against Biden and other Democratic officials. The incident occurred as FBI agents attempted to execute arrest and search warrants at a residence in Provo, Utah.
