Madonna expressed her gratitude for being able to dance and move her body again after her recent medical emergency. In an Instagram video, she gave fans an update on her ongoing recovery from a bacterial infection that had led to her hospitalization.
The Queen of Pop captioned the video with the words, “To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world!”
The clip showed her dancing to her 1984 hit “Lucky Star.” She thanked her fans and friends for their support, considering them her lucky stars too. Additionally, she sent well wishes to her debut album, “Madonna,” celebrating its 40th birthday, and added four star emojis.
Fellow celebrities like Andy Cohen and The Weeknd, as well as her fans, cheered her on and praised her recovery.

In June, Madonna was rushed to the hospital in New York City due to the bacterial infection, which required intensive care treatment before being moved to regular care, as explained by her manager, Guy Oseary.
