In an effort to remain in the public eye, former President Trump has launched a website with the purpose of preserving what he calls “the magnificent legacy of the Trump Administration,” and to allow supporters of the former president to request a personalized greeting or even book Trump and his wife for private events.
The website, 45office.com, is relatively small as of its launch and contains a page summarizing the Trumps’ time in the White House.
“Through this office, President Trump will remain a tireless champion for the hardworking men and women of our great country — and for their right to live in safety, dignity, prosperity, and peace,” reads a message on the website’s homepage.
Trump’s return to the web followes his banishment from Twitter and Facebook in the days immediately following the Jan. 6 siege of the Capitol. The companies cited a need to prevent the incitement of further violence.
Trump established his official “office of the former president” in Florida earlier this year, but he has found it difficult to communicate with his followers after his banishment from Twitter and Facebook in the days immediately following the Jan. 6 siege of the Capitol. The companies cited a need to prevent the incitement of further violence.
