President Donald Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows has tested positive for COPVID-19, Bloomberg reported Friday.
Meadows was in the White House on Tuesday night with Trump, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Donald Trump Jr. and others, New York Magazine’s Olivia Nuzzi reported. He reportedly informed several advisers of his CORONAVIRUS diagnosis after Election Day, according to ABC News.
Meadows also attended a party at the White House Tuesday that had hundreds in attendance, CNN’s Kaitlan Collins reports.
Bloomberg also reports that Trump campaign aide, Nick Trainer, also has coronavirus.
More than 9.7 million Americans have been diagnosed with the coronavirus and more than 236,000 have died, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University. The U.S. has repeatedly set records for coronavirus cases this week, with almost 122,000 cases reported Thursday.
